Hey guys! I'm working on a new article trying to explain the various stuff to do with a CNC machine - basically a CNC for dummies... anyway I'd like to get y'alls opinion on it and any ideas that you might have that would it better Smiley

http://www.backyard-workshop.com/reference-material/98-cnc-for-dummies.html

I still need to add more pictures and I'm going to make a few animations and probably a few videos as well, but wanted to get ideas on the general concept first Smiley

check it out when you get a chance and thanks!

Looks like a good start.

I know when I first started doing CNC stuff the most daunting thing about it was the electronics. Mostly I wasn't sure what exactly it was that I needed to buy. There are so many possible variations on the electronics that it can get very confusing for a newbie.

I would put a lot of effort into the electronics section for that reason.

That's just my two cents

Have Fun!
