position of the limitswitch in Heliostat
« on: January 08, 2011, 02:32:11 AM »
Hello,
I have some problems with the position of the limitswitch. At first I thought the switch was placed somewere at the end of the day. Limit, end, it sounds all the same to me. But now I think the switch should be places at the beginning of the day.  Is that correct? And what is the relation with the angle in the movemotors function?
Thanks, Bernard

Correct, the limit switch should be placed at the beginning of the day.

In the movemotors function, setting#11 lets the program know where the limit switch is for the altitude, and setting #18 lets it know where the limit switch is for the azimuth. The variables for these settings are named altLimitAngle and azLimitAngle. (Is this what you were asking?)

Thank you, Gabriel. That was exactly what I was asking.
