This is a basic model or a possible method to aim a solar mirror array (this is not a std. heliostat with motors, but one
for simplicity and economy that is moved by a persons hands):

Here is a vid I found of some guy explaining in a simple mannor about the internals of a steppor motor.  Basically he made a simple homemade one:

I made a vid. about a microwave turntable motor, it has good "holding force", and no current is needed to do that.   The problem is, it will switch directions every time the motor is turned on, could be a mechanical function, or electronic:

Some microwave motors might turn in only one direction.  I'm not sure yet about this.
