« on: May 03, 2010, 06:16:51 PM »
http://www.cambam.co.uk/docs/gettingstarted/stepper-mount.html
What I see in the place on the left side of the page is just
centre point
diamtor
transform
what must I do to get all the other things

Step 5 - Inserting a pocket and viewing the toolpath
I clicked on that button and I am not able to do all those things
ToolDiameter 0.125
StockSurface  0

DepthIncrement 0.02

TargetDepth  -0.064
CutFeedrate  7

PlungeFeedrate  2

ClearancePlane  0.1

--------------------------
Also my cambam has snap to grid on and thats why I am not able to make the
Inserting 4 points for mounting hole positions

The points snap to the grid and I dont have control

I'm not quite sure exactly what you're trying to describe because I cannot see your screen, kind of makes things difficult. When you make the points are you using that tool called "Points list" like in the tutorial or are you just trying to snap to location and put the points? You may want to try changing your grid and snap values in settings too.

You have to select the pocket to see those options. I attached a picture to this post so you can see what it looks like. It's under the machining folder. It can sometimes be hard to click the pocket machining option directly. I think there is a bug in the code with the free version of CamBam, but if you click the machining folder first and then click the machining option, it seems to work every time.

Hi Travis and Gabriel

I wanted to dissable the snap to grid feature
It was
Ctrl+G

I can see from the drawing tree on the left side to change the
PlungeFeedrate  2
ClearancePlane  0.1
and all the rest

I thought that it was enough to just click
pocket operation
What is the purpose of
Machinining - Generate Toolpaths .

Thanks for your help
